is christmas about nostalgia

So, I wouldn't say it's that time of year, the western secular world may believe this is that time of year, whatever that may truly be. Well actually all year is a time for Christ, for His birth was the true gift of God...for we are undeserving creatures that celebrate ourselves, as if we have made ourselves or anything for that matter.... for all that we have made with our minds and hands is because of an Omnipotent God, and because of Him we have the powers and knowledge to create what we do, yet so tiny in comparison.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23
What got me thinking about Christmas, well the world is always looking for a way to have that nostalgia, that nostalgia that can bring a smile although not lasting. So now that the materialists have past yet another one of their celebrations, Halloween despite most not knowing it's true historic past seems to just gets darker and darker. But, that's another story for another time and we are the one of Christmas. So, as I was glancing through Youtube I saw the title "Bev Turner in FLOODS of tears after watching 'incredibly moving' John Lewis advert - 'They get it'" and wondered, what a corporate company could offer to one's happiness. Well, it took me sorta by surprise as I realized they said it's that time of year, that time of year with a frown, oh for the Christmas Adverts, apparently this is a thing. So, I was expecting something completely reverting to what Christmas once was and still truly remains to be... the Birth of Christ, the One who came to redeem us with His substitutional death, to end the curse for all, by being murdered by His enemies "you and me" as sinners and put upon the cross, which history tells us was known to be a curse.
13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree” - Galatians 3:13
This verse in Galatians was based on the book of Deuteronomy, first telling us about the curse of being hung upon a tree.. yet, The Son of God left all His full glory and treasures in heaven to become the lowly servant who would become that curse in our place....
22 “And if a man has committed a crime punishable by death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, 23 his body shall not remain all night on the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for a hanged man is cursed by God. - Deuteronomy 21:22-23
The account of a child being born in Bethlehem is not about a world buying presents or making memories, although Christ centered memories are encouraged. The world is not for Christ but against Christ, for The Gospel of Christ is foolishness to those that are perishing..
18 For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. - 1 Corinthians 1:18
Scripture tells us in "1 Corinthians 1:22 For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men".Why, for those who are lost, perishing souls don't see the value of a suffering, and dying savior who is crucified for the world's redemption, through the belief in knowing that God sent His only begotten Son, a Ransom so costly no one would pay on this earth, would you give your own son or daughter to save people for whom you loved, never mind for those that hate you? When we think like man, we act like man and can not see in a spiritual understanding, for Abraham understood this by faith alone... for this He was willing to give Isaac as a sacrifice. because He believed God would raise Him from the dead... but it was a glimpse into the future, but no man is a worthy lamb of substitue for the world as a sinner cannot cleanse a sinner. But the Son of God, the anointed one who is called Jesus is blameless and perfect and came not to do HIs will, but the will of the Father.
May all that read this understand, the Secular World will not allow for its followers to see the true meaning of Christmas, for darkness can not entertain light, nor can one in the light be with darkness. You see the world started out in darkness, but God said;
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. - Genesis 1:3-4
You see you can either stay in the darkness and love your SIN, or you can call out to the One True Living God asking for His help, for His mercy and His forgiveness of your sins,,,, for He is a God rich in mercy and grace, will you break your foolishness by thinking that there is no God, that all what is, came from nothing, from chaos we came... or for you who says, I believe in God but do not read His word daily to be nourished by His truth in His word, did not Jesus say;
4 But he answered, “It is written,
“ ‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ” - Matthew 4:4
For the my atheists out there, that rely on what man tells you based on their own bias of seeing all from a Godless perspective, I pray you search for yourself the truth, for if you search for the truth of creation and why we are here and the purpose, start in the Bible, perhaps in the New Testament. asking God truly for His help, for He shall surely know your hearts true intent. For the one who claims to be a Christian by name, are you truly following Christs commandments, do you live for Christ by denying yourself and taken up your cross as commanded.
We can say many things, you may say I know Jesus, but does Jesus truly know you
and if not, then I pray you will search yourself and read the scriptures daily for the answer, for all in life is in the scriptures. For all have fallen short of the glory of God, but God paid the ultimate ransom for you and me, if we so believe that Jesus died for us and resurrected on the third day defeating the final sin of death, He being the first among many to being raised from the dead.... will this be you? I pray that it will, I pray you will repent, turn from your wicked ways and follow Christ today. Help, is always a arm length away... He is calling, for the Lord is coming back soon and may you be one called by Him today.

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.” - John 3:16-21
